Jerry Kenneth Frank was born on June 10, 1941 to Martin and LaVerna (Peterson) Frank in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Shortly thereafter, they moved to the Wesley area where his dad farmed.

Jerry served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Belle Grove from 1958 – 1962.

Jerry married Agnes Becker on November 28, 1970. They were married just short of 46 years. To this union, they were blessed with 5 incredible children: Jeri Kay, Tracy, Shane, Tonya, and Trent. For roughly 20 years, Jerry farmed the Frank family farm. He also worked at Formanek Elevator, and Murphy-Brown. For the last 9 years, Jerry and Agnes made their home in Algona.

Jerry enjoyed playing cards (Canasta, Hand & Foot, 500, Solitaire) and mind-teasers. He loved spending time with his grandchildren (Hunter and Haley), making deviled eggs to share with friends and family, watching the eagles online at Decorah, watching Gunsmoke and Western movies. He often liked to put his rubber snakes around the house to tease his wife and grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Agnes Frank of Algona; daughters Jeri Kay (Uriel Barillas) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Tracy (Kevin Burge) and their two grandchildren (Hunter & Haley) of Platte City, Missouri and Tonya (Justin Wadel) of Kansas City, Missouri; son Trent of Evergreen, Colorado; brothers Gail and Doyle, both of Colorado. Also surviving are numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
