Obituary
Kenneth Hammel, 93, of Clarion, and formerly of Maywood, Nebraska passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 at the Clarion Wellness and Rehabilitation Center.
Memorial graveside services for Kenneth Hammel will be held at a later date at Maywood Cemetery in Maywood, Nebraska.
Kenneth was born to Bert and Bertha (Heskett) Hammel on September 4, 1922 in Curtis, Nebraska. He was united in marriage to Shirley White on August 18, 1945. To this union, two sons were born; Denny and Doug, both of Clarion, Iowa.
Ken served in World War II for nearly two years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Maxine Johnson and Doris Baker.
Ken leaves to mourn his wife Shirley, sons Denny and Doug, and many nieces and nephews.
Ken will be missed.
