Obituary
Peggy L. Alspach, 60, of Clarion passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Careage of Clarion in Clarion.
Peggy Lee (Knapp) Alspach was born in Newton, Iowa on February 12, 1948 to Ralph and Beulah (Kent) Knapp. The family moved to Spencer, Iowa in 1953 where Peggy was raised and attended school. She was married to John Alspach on September 24, 1971 and later retired in Clarion.
Peggy was a member of the Clarion Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed fishing, knitting, crocheting, cake decorating, hair cutting and giving perms to friends and family. Peggy also liked doing many other side line crafts, enjoyed her computer, but most importantly loved spending time with her family.
Peggy is survived by her husband John; four children: Troy Alspach of Olathe, Kansas, Christopher (Barb) Knapp of Ruthven, Aaron (Terra) Alspach of Breda and Amanda (Josh) Morris of Eagle Grove; 10 grandchildren; and her mother Beulah Knapp of Clarion.
She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Knapp and brother Larry Knapp.
