Aimee S. Smith, 46, of Britt and formerly of Belmond, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at her home in Britt. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Aimee Sue, daughter of Richard and Sharon (Kramer) Smith, was born on January 1, 1977, in Belmond. Aimee grew up in Belmond and graduated from Belmond High School in 1995. Aimee had her own daycare over the years and worked at Farm and Home in Belmond. She enjoyed being out in the sun and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings. Her family was most important to her and loved spending time with her children, Kacie and Owen, and granddaughter Kennedy. Aimee cherished the past 17 years spent with her beloved partner, Ryan. Aimee will be remembered for always finding a way to give to others, even when she had nothing. Aimee is survived by her children Kacie Eliason (Karter Ketchum) and Owen Eliason (Sage Hall); granddaughter Kennedy Ketchum; partner Ryan Poncin; brother Tim Smith, Todd (Peggy) Smith, and Troy Smith; nephews Easton Smith and Hunter Smith; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Sharon Smith and uncle Jack Kramer.
