Obituary
Albert Ramus Rasmuson, 81, passed away Sunday, September 22, 1991 at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt, Iowa.
Albert, the son of William J. and Emma (Krambeer) Rasmuson, was born May 7, 1910 in Britt where he had attended school.
On August 27, 1934 he was united in marriage with Helen Louise Cox at Mason City. The couple farmed for 25 years. Albert drove school bus for 15 years. He was a hail adjustor for the Farm Bureau for 12 years and he was also a cemetery trustee. Albert was an avid sportsman, being a member of the Sportsman Club. He was a lifetime member of the Britt Historical Society.
Mrs. Rasmuson was a life member of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Britt.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Rasmuson of Britt, Iowa; two sons: Ron Rasmuson and his wife, Sally of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; Tom Rasmuson of San Diego, California; a daughter-in-law, Gloria Rasmuson of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, David and three brothers.
