Alice Evelyn Riehm, passed away Friday, February 13, 1998, at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt, Iowa. Alice, the daughter of Andrew and Augusta (Carlson) Johnson, was born July 30, 1905, at Pilot Mound, Iowa.  She moved with her parents to the Kanawha area where she received her education in the rural schools.  She was united in marriage with Paul Riehm on August 22, 1935, in Bethany, Missouri.  The couple have since made their home in the Britt area. Mrs. Riehm was a member of the King's Daughter, Eastern Star and a 50 year member of the United Methodist Church Women of Britt, Iowa. She is survived by her children: Patricia Riehm of Brit, Iowa; Marvel Bartley and her husband, Wayne of Villa Park, California; Charlene Trotman and her husband, Frank of Peoria, Illinois; a son, Robert Riehm of Medford, Oregon; four grandchildren: Matthew Bartley, Lisa Bartley, Lesley Trotman and Laura Gray and one great grandchild: Briana Gray; two sisters-in-law: Bernice Eisenman of Britt and Bessie Riehm of Garner; and a brother-in-law Curtis Riehm and his wife, Florine of Garner. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - Paul who passed away February 7, 1985, two brothers and two sisters.
