Anna Grace (Gremmer) Dolphin

Anna G. (Gremmer) Dolphin, 90, of Olathe, Kansas, formerly of Britt, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019.

Funeral services for Anna Dolphin will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Britt Zion Church of the Nazarene, 195 2^nd Street South West, in Britt with Pastor Chris Burrell officiating. Burial will be held in Evergreen Cemetery in Britt.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Ewing Funeral Chapel, 178 Center Street West in Britt and continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Anna Grace, the 12th child of Eppo and Jennie (Pomp) Gremmer, was born August 26, 1928 on the farm north of Wesley, Iowa where she grew into womanhood and helped on the farm.

On July 30, 1947 Anna was united in marriage with George C. Dolphin, and to this union, eight children were born; Mary, Dale and Dean (twins), Robert, George, Anita and Rita (twins), and Richard.

George and Anna moved into Britt in 1969 where she worked various places. Following the death of her husband George on December 25, 1974, Anna remained in her home in Britt with her children. On October 31, 1986 Anna moved to Olathe, Kansas. She cleaned homes in and around Olathe until 2007 when she retired.

Anna accepted the Lord into her life in 1976 and made her decision to serve him from then on.

Anna is survived by six children: Mary Trulson of Olathe, Kansas, Dale (Cindy) Dolphin of Britt, Dean (Carol) Dolphin of Garner, Robert (Judy) Dolphin of Olathe, Kansas, Anita Dolphin of Olathe, Kansas, Rita Dolphin of Olathe, Kansas, daughter-in-law Jill (Jack) Hiebert of Olathe, Kansas; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, sister Gazena Dolphin of Paso Robles, California, brothers Henry Gremmer of Britt, and Eppo (Hyla) Gremmer of Britt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, son George, son Richard, grandson Jeremy Dolphin, son-in-law Mitch Trulson, seven brothers and one sister.
