Arnold Richard Nedved, 60, passed away April 11, 1995 at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital. Arnold, the son of Aldrich and Lillian (Tlach) Nedved, was born October 6, 1934 in Britt.  He graduated from Hayfield High School in 1952.  In 1955 he entered the U.S. Army where he served in the United States, Germany and England.  In 1957 he returned to Britt.  In 1958 he was united in marriage with Leola Lacey of Belmond.  The couple farmed near Hayfield, Iowa. Arnold was the overseer of Eagle Lake State Park. Survivors include his wife, Leola "Lee"; three sons: Brian of Britt; Michael and his wife, Michelle of Ithaca, New York; Rodney and his wife, Shawna of Marion, Iowa; three brothers: Elmer and his wife, Betty of Hayfield, Iowa; Donna and his wife, Donna of Britt, Iowa; his twin brother, Aldrich and his wife, Joanne of Kansas City, Missouri; one grandchild, Kayla Nedved. He was preceded in death by his parents.
