Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Paulette who he married in 2002 in
Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Other immediate family includes 3 adult children, a
daughter-in-law, 3 granddaughters, two grandsons-in-law, a great granddaughter
and a great grandson as well as many other family members and friends.
Arnie moved from Iowa to Arkansas in 1972 where he worked for Service Electric.
In 1975 he bought that business and served the Rogers area for 34 years. He
became a lifetime member of Optimist International in 1989. Through the years he
was a member of several community, school and recreational groups. The latest of

than 10 years and held various positions on the Arkansas State Good Sam staff.
In 2014 he and Paulette began volunteering at the Hancock County Fairgrounds.
In the beginning they spent only summer months in Britt choosing to travel south
as the winter weather set in. Some years they park hosted for the Texas State
Parks and other winters they spent in the Texas valley with a special group of
friends. The Fair Board chose to honor Arnie as the 2021 Volunteer of the Year,
which he accepted with pride having loved every minute of time spent there.
Arnie was a kind and generous man with an unfailing love for life. He touched
many people throughout his life, and his love and friendship will be missed by
all.
