Arthur James Jacobson, 90, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 1994, at his home in Kanawha, Iowa. Art, the son of Severt and Ragnhild (Nerheim) Jacobson, was born November 12, 1903, at Story City, Iowa.  He moved with his parents in 1914, to a farm near Kanawha, where he received his education.  He farmed with his parents until 1945, when the family moved into Kanawha.  Art continued in farm work by helping various farmers. He was confirmed member on the Kanawha Lutheran Church.  Art enjoyed watching sports on TV. He is survived by four sisters: Jeanette Olson of Kanawha, Iowa, Almina Jacobson of Mason City, Iowa, Selma Braun of Mankato, Minnesota and Lillian Naussner of Clear Lake, Iowa; a niece: Noreen Roberts; two nephews: Ronald Dempsey and Steve Braun; three great nieces and two great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
