Aryanna L. Wiebke, age 11 of Britt, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at St. Mary's hospital at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Funeral services for Aryanna will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the West Hancock Elementary School Gymnasium, 510 9th Street Southwest, in Britt with Pastor Greg Baum officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, September 5, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the West Hancock Elementary School Gymnasium, 510 9th Street Southwest, in Britt and will continue one hour prior to the funeral services at the school Saturday.  Aryanna LaVone Wiebke was born on April 20, 2003 to Troy and Emily Wiebke in Dubuque, Iowa.  At 7 months of age, Aryanna was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, a congenital heart disorder that required a transplant on December 31, 2004.  Upon her death, Aryanna came full circle as an eye/ tissue donor. Aryanna moved with her family to Britt at Christmas time in 2006.  She attended school at West Hancock where she would have begun 6th grade this fall.  She participated in cheerleading, played trumpet in band, and was one of eight students selected for the Honor Choir. Aryanna also enjoyed dance, playing soccer and spending her summers traveling with the carnival all around the state with her Papa Tom.  She was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan with her Aunt Tracy, and recently had the opportunity to attend a game.  She loved cooking, her specialty being spaghetti and homemade sauce.  She loved cooking with her grandma, watching various cooking shows, and after competing at the 2013 Hancock County Junior Fair in a mystery bag cook off with her Aunt Jenn, became determined to one day compete on Masterchef. Aryanna attended Camp Odayin, a camp in Stillwater, Minnesota for children with heart complications twice each year for the past few years.    She greatly enjoyed attending and even participating in a variety of Waldorf College Theatre productions. Aryanna was very sassy, spunky and full of life.  She was very witty and lived life to the fullest.  She was very goal-oriented, and had her heart set on becoming a PICU nurse one day, so she could be on the front lines helping other patients in need. Aryanna was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Britt, where she attended Awana's. In 2012, Aryanna began to experience signs of chronic transplant rejection and had spent the past several months in Rochester.  Aryanna felt blessed to have the Ronald McDonald house to stay at in Rochester and enjoyed her time there at her home away from home. Aryanna is survived by her parents Troy and Emily Wiebke of Britt; brother JT Harrah of Longview, Texas; sister Rosie (fiance' Jarret Angst) Harrah of Houston, Texas; brother Spencer Lewis Wiebke of Britt; grandparents Ella Poindexter of St. Joseph, Missouri, Diane and Ken Pickar of Britt, Charles and Betsy Wiebke of Dubuque, Iowa, Lewis and Bonnie Dowell of Mission, Texas, and Papa Tom and Mitzi Wells of Malvern, Arkansas; aunt Tracy (James) Wood of Woden; uncle Travis (Julie) Wiebke of Mason City; aunt Jennifer Cooper of the West Coast; along with numerous other aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Aryanna was preceded in death by her infant brother Troy Junior Wiebke.; great-grandparents Wanda and Earl Dowell,  Samuel and Mildred Poindexter, Alice and Abel Hauge, and Emma and Martin Wiebke.
