Benjamin Earl Allbee was born in Iowa Falls to Kenneth Robert and Viva Mae (Culbertson) Allbee on March 20, 1951.

Ben loved sports, watching and playing. He was a faithful Vikings fan and co-owned season tickets for the last few years. He enjoyed the trips with his sons and friends. He and Linda went on many motorcycle trips and Ben was the president of the North Iowa Road Riders. He was also a member of the Meservey Fire Department for 34 years.

Ben worked hard all of his life at Winnebago and Dornkamp Construction. He later bought out Dornkamp Construction which then became Allbee Construction. After college, Ben Jr. joined his dad to run a successful business. Later, Ben and Ben Jr. subcontracted to Dave’s Deck Care.

On August 7, 1971, Ben married the love of his life, Linda S. Gaines. They were married 50 years. To this union two sons were given by God, Robert Austin Allbee on October 28, 1976 and Ben Earl Allbee Jr. (BJ) on September 27, 1978. They were his pride and joy. Ben attended every concert and sport event they were in.

2020 was a hard year as Ben found out his cancer had returned. He fought with courage for 11 years. He just wanted to see his oldest grandson, Clayton, graduate from high school. Ben was a wonderful, caring husband, father, grandfather, whom cherished all of his family and friends. And he always met our every need with pride and love.

Left to survive is his wife Linda; sons Robert (Kelly) Allbee and their daughters Kaitlyn and Hailey, and Ben Jr. (Stacy) Allbee and their sons Clayton and Blaike; sister Carolyn (Denny) Lind; sisters-in-law Kathye Gaines and Nancy Allbee; and many nieces, nephews, friends, co-workers and motorcycle club  members.

He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Viva; brother Kenneth Jr.; in-laws Ollie and Viola Gaines; brother-in-law Lon Gaines; and niece Angel Gaines.
