Bert Steadly

Bert Steadly, 94, passed away Sunday, June 9, 1996, at the Kanawha Community Home in Kanawha, Iowa.

Bert was born November, 27, 1901, in Keokuk, the son of Andrew and Malinda Steadly.  After his parents' deaths he was raised by the Henry Meinder family in Belmond, where he attended school.  Bert loved farming, helping area farmers as a farm hand.

He was preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers and sisters.
