Bessie Lolling, 86, passed away Friday, August 9, 1996 at the Wedgewood Nursing Home in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. Bessie, the daughter of Ulysses and Elizabeth (piplow) Fox was born September 21, 1909, on a farm north of Woden, Iowa.  She attended rural country schools in Hancock County, and lived at home until 1935 when she married Jake Lolling.  They lived on various farms until 1964, when they retired and moved to Britt.  She entered the Westview Care Center in May of 1991 and then moved to the Wedgewood Nursing Home in January 1996.  Bessie was a housewife all her married lige and a member of the Britt Evangelical Free Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Jake Lolling, her parents, and four brothers and two sisters (George, Charles, Lawrence, Otto Fox - Edna Eden, and Esther Schroeder). Survivors include two sons: Lanny and his wife, LaVonne of Burnsville, Minnesota and Dennis and his wife, Loretta of Wapello, Iowa; seven grandchildren: Gary and his wife, Caron of South St. Paul, Minnesota, Keith and Daryl of Rosemount, Minnesota, Jody Winslow and her husband, Ronald of Wapello, Iowa, Kristine Lanz and her husband, Robert of Oakville, Iowa, Rhonda McGuire and her husband, Michael of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Chad Lolling of Davenport, Iowa; seven great-grandchildren: Paige and Shelby, daughters of Gary and Caron, Austin and Jace, children of Jody and Ronald, Kaylyn, Logan and Keegan, children of Kristine and Robert.
