Betty (Greiman) Fox

Betty Fox, 83, of Britt, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa in Mason City.

Funeral services for Betty Fox will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Ewing Funeral Chapel in Britt with Pastor Robert Dodge officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Britt.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Ewing Funeral Chapel in Britt and continue one hour prior to services at the church.

Betty the daughter of Aaron and Bessie (Kurtz) Greiman was born April 18, 1927 in Klemme. She attended Garner High School.

Betty was united in marriage with Larry E. Fox on April 14, 1946 in Britt. The couple made their home in Britt.

Betty enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed caring for her flower gardens, making crafts and baking.

For the past three years Betty was a resident of Concord Care Assisted Living facilities in Garner.

Betty was a member of the Britt United Methodist Church and the Britt American Legion Auxiliary.

Betty is survived by three children and their families: daughter, Kathy (David) Davis of Pensacola, Florida and children, Tammy (Larry) Anderson, Brent (Tammy) Huisinga, and Angie O’Brien; daughter, Karen (Daryl) Brunsen of Crystal Lake and children Sheila Warrick and Eric (Laura) Brunsen; son, Gary (Sandy) Fox of Mason City and children Jason (Amy) Fox and Jennifer (Dane) Bjugan; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister Mary Ann (Lewis) Formanek of Phoenix, Arizona and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Larry (October 10, 1985).
