Beverlee Georgenne Burnet, 75, passed away Friday, August 30, 2002, at her home in Britt. Bev was born in Wilcox, Nebraska on Decmeber 9, 1926, the daughter of J.C. and Beth Blackburn. She was a member of the Methodist Chuch in Britt.  She received her B.S. degree from Iowa University.  She was an avid gardener, bridge player and loved travel.  Her sense of adventure and fun loving spirit endeared her to all that were graced with her friendship and love. Bev moved to Britt in 1981 to care for her father 'Swede'.  She will be remembered fondly for her devotion to family and friends. She was the mother of six: Michelle, Pamela, Wendy, Douglas, Donald and Jennifer.   Her love for her children was immense.  She shared their triumphs with pride and joy.  Although they lived far apart, she kept them close with calls, visits, and travel.  No one could hope for more love than she gave. Surviving are her sister Marilynn Jo Tolley, six children, and six grandchildren.
