Memories

I was sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I have great memories of the Korneisel family, who in we kids' early childhood lived on our block. A particular memory of Bob's kindness was when our Brownie/Girl Scout club held a "dad-daughter date night" and my father couldn't attend. Bob was kind enough to be Dad to both Marcia and me that night. Marcia, Kent and Kurt have my deepest sympathy.

Dear Kurt, Marcia and Kent, I am so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I have good memories of both your mom and dad while growing up in Britt. I also enjoyed visiting with them a couple of times when they visited Kathy in Jefferson. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a kind and cheerful man and a great citizen of Britt. His many interests really kept him busy. He was a great Dad. His kids were greatly similar to their father. He will be remembered by everyone who knew him.

What a man! I enjoyed visiting with him whenever I was in his dry cleaning business. He helped raise three wonderful children. He lived a good long life. I'm glad he was able to watch the last Hobo Day Parade and be a part of it. He leaves a lasting legacy. My heart goes out to all who knew and loved Bob.

My family moved to Britt when I was in 2nd grade and I met Bob at that time. We have remained best friends ever since. Bob, Kieth Packard and I all played solos in many band contests. His wife, Phyllis, was our accompanist for all of us for about three years. She must have been a saint to do this through hundreds of practices. He was an extra special person. Prayers and love to the family. Ron and Nancy Lechelt
