Bradley John Johnson, born on June 28, 1987, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on July 8, 2026.

Brad was the beloved son of Tim Johnson and Kathy Ditsworth (Steve). He was a devoted father to his son, Brody Johnson, who was the greatest source of pride and joy in his life. He is also survived by his older sister, Megan Fries (Jesse); his younger sister, Nicole Dennler (Nick); his cherished nieces and nephews, Lincoln, Willa, Beau, Theo, Isla, and Olivia, all of whom he loved dearly; and his close friend, Kari Toth.

Brad earned a degree in Telecommunications and proudly served his country in the National Guard, attaining the rank of Sergeant. His dedication to military service reflected his deep sense of duty, honor, and commitment. The military was more than a career to Brad—it was his passion.

Outside of his service, Brad found happiness in the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, spending time at the shooting range, and collecting firearms. Whether he was sharing stories, teaching others, or enjoying time with family and friends, Brad brought enthusiasm and generosity wherever he went.

Those who knew Brad will remember him as someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a kind heart, a loyal spirit, and an unwavering willingness to be there for others when they needed him. His quiet strength, selflessness, and love for his family will leave a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

Brad’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. Though he is deeply missed, his legacy of service, compassion, and love will never be forgotten.
