Carol Lewis Feller passed away peacefully at the Clarion Hospital on January 22, 2022, with her husband Dale by her side. Funeral services for Carol Feller will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 4, 2022 at First Lutheran Church, 420 First Street North West in Clarion with Pastor Bill Kem officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Carol Lewis was born September, 20, 1936 to Edward and Annie (Hill) Lewis at the Lewis farm northwest of Clarion. Carol attended Lake #1 Country School until 8th grade when most country schools closed. She then went to Clarion High School graduating in 1955. Carol married Dale Feller on April 22, 1956. They lived on an acreage north and east of Clarion. In 2008 they relocated to Belmond, Iowa, recently returning to Clarion to reside in the Meadows. Carol and Dale are long-time members of First Lutheran Church of Clarion. Carol and Dale have three children: Michael, Catherine and John. Carol is survived by her husband Dale; children Michael (Patricia) of Bailey, CO; Catherine (Robert) Benziger of Johnston, IA and John (Cynthia) of Ames, IA. Grandchildren are Jason Feller, Christen Feller-Mendoza, Andrew Feller, Benjamin Feller, Kovin Benziger and Jessica Feller. Family also includes six great-grandchildren: Gabriella, Robert, Mikaela, Lucy, Nora and Adaline. Carol is survived by brother-in-law Richard (Dick) Feller, sister-in-law Barb Howieson and several nieces and nephews. Carol was proceeded in death by her parents; sister Elaine and brother-in-law Raymond Cline; brother Jerry Lewis; brothers-in-law Robert Feller and Don Feller; and sisters-in-law Mary (Dick) Feller and Mary Anne Gathman.
