Obituary
Carolyn J. Dawson, 72, passed away Saturday, July 18, 1998, at the Hospice of North Iowa Center in Mason City, Iowa.
Carolyn J. Dawson, the daughter of Guy and Jenny (Swanson) Dimond, was born March 20, 1926, at Britt, Iowa. She graduated from Britt High School and was a graduate of Northwestern Bible College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Carolyn met Howard Dawson while attending college and they were married on June 16, 1951, at Britt, Iowa. The couple made their home first in Minneapolis, then Montana and Wyoming. Carolyn and the children returned to Britt in 1969, after the death of her husband.
The most important things in her life were her faith and the Lord, her children, grandchildren, family and fellowship with friends. She will be remembered as a very special, caring lady in the hearts and minds of many whose lives she touched.
Carolyn is survived by her children: Jeneil and her husband, David Smith and their children Brandon and Jordan of Danville, California; Melaine and her husband, Dennis Mitchell of Mason City, IA; Steve Dawson of Cabot, Arkansas; and Paul and his wife, Linda Dawson and their child Heather of Newton, IA; a sister June Keil of Britt, IA; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother Myrwin Dimond.
