At times when I am grieved, I imagine the Lord enveloping me with his strong, caring arms, carefully holding me just like a father holding his child. I pray that this heavenly comfort be brought to the family's today and in the days to come. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” Isaiah 43:2

We will miss Carolyn greatly as she always had a warm and gentle nature. When visiting Iowa, she always welcomed our family and had really good meals for us. Her and Dean were a great team. They also raised the best boys ever. We're very sorry to hear that Carolyn passed away.

My dear friend, Carolyn, was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside! Thanks be to God, her pain and difficult breathing are gone forever. She'll be missed by many!
