Celia D. Trager, age 66, of Vista, California, passed away Saturday November 29, 2014 at her home in Vista. Celia Diane Trager was born December 20, 1947 to John and Blanche Surham Costello in Sacramento, California. She grew up in the Sacramento area where Celia attended school and graduated from high school in 1966. Celia began working for a law firm as a secretary. Celia was united in marriage to Dennis Trager on March 18, 1972 in Las Vegas. The couple made their home on various military bases around the world while Dennis was in the service. After Dennis was honorably discharged, he and Celia lived in Belmond for a time before settling in southern California. Celia and Dennis were blessed with three children. Celia worked with mentally and physically handicapped adults. She taught them how function in the world as normal adults. Celia was most comfortable relaxing with a cup of coffee while watching television all day long. Celia endeared herself as Mother, Grandma and Housewife. She will be missed very much. We Love You! Celia is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dennis, children, Michael Trager of Oceanside, CA, Daunty Trager of Vista, CA, Tonja Trager of Big Cabin, OK. three grandchildren Aiden, Julianna, Elisabeth and a sister, Donita Miller of the bay area in California. She is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday December 6, 2014 at Dugger Funeral Home, 111 Luick's Lane South in Belmond. Father Jerry Blake will officiate. Burial will take place in the Meservey Cemetery. Visitation for Celia D. Trager will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday December 5, 2014 and will continue for one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday. A time of lunch and fellowship for family and friends will follow the graveside services at the Lienbach Center.
