Charles M. Hiscocks

Charles Mitchell Hiscocks, 8, of Britt, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2005, at his home with his mother by his side.

Charlie was born March 15, 1997, in Algona, Iowa.  He was baptized at First Lutheran Church in Britt and re-affirmed his faith with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ in April of 2002.  Charlie was a third grader at Britt Elementary School where he enjoyed racecars, football and playing with his friends.

Charlie fought cancer for five years and his courage, strength and sense of humor were an inspiration to all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Dr. Don and Allison Hiscocks and his brother, Andrew, Britt; his great-grandparents, Marcella Lee, Clear Lake and Paul and Leona Bussert, Spencer; his grandparents, Jon and Mary Lee, Clear Lake, Jon Hiscocks, Britt, Kaye Gilles, West Des Moines and Terry McGuire, Algona; his aunts and uncles, Barb and Doug Waltzing, Belmond, Gary and Deb Hiscocks, Algona, Dr. Mitch and Dawn Hiscocks, Carroll, Joe and Annette Hiscocks, Britt, Jack and Amy McGuire, Algona, Doug and Tanya McGuire, Whittemore, Ryan and Melissa McGuire, Blue Earth, Minnesota, Ben Frederick, Urbandale and Zach Frederick, Clear Lake.

There to greet Charlie in Heaven was his mother, Molly Hiscocks, his sister, Emma, and his grandmothers, De McGuire and Beverly Hiscocks.
