Cheryl Lee Rodriguez, age 70, of Clarion, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at USA Health Care Center in Clarion, A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, July 27, 2007 at Ewing Dugger Helgeson Funeral Home 602 North Main Street Clarion, with Fr. Chris Podhasjky officiating.  Inurnment will take place at a later date. A visitation will take place from 5-7 PM, Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the Ewing Dugger Helgeson Funeral Home, 602 North Main Street, Clarion, Iowa, 50525, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Cheryl Lee Rodriguez, daughter of Forrest and Edna (Brayton) Meyer was born on October 8, 1936 in Britt, IA.  She was raised and educated in the Britt, Garner area, graduating from Garner High School. After high school Cheryl worked in Mason City and then at the Good Nature Store in Garner. On September 9, 1968 she was united in marriage to Frank Rodriquez in Clarion. After moving to Clarion she worked for Post Clover Farm and at the hospital for 17 years.   Cheryl enjoyed reading, bowling and spending time with her family. Cheryl is survived by her husband Frank of Clarion, IA; children, Terry Long and his wife Tonya of Council Bluffs, IA, Deb Stewart of Clarion, IA, Carrie Uhl of Snohomish, WA, Carmen Rodriguez of Clarion, IA, Joleen Gonzalez of Clarion, IA; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren;  brothers, Wayne and Marvin Meyer. She was preceded in death by her parents.
