Obituary
Cleo Pearl Francis, 76, passed away Sunday, March 27, 1994, at Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City, Iowa.
Cleo, the daughter of Lester and Lola (Nicholas) Davis, was born June 21, 1917, at Kanaha, Iowa. As a young lady she moved with her parents to Peoria, Illinois where she attended school.
She was united in marriage with Donald Francis on May 6, 1935. The couple made their home in Mason City. They then moved to Peoria, Illinois; Faribault, Minnesota and then Britt, Iowa. Cleo was a bookkeeper and she enjoyed reading in her spare time.
She is survived by four sons: Dalton E. Francis and his wife, Charlene of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; William P. Francis and Darlene Francis of Faribault, Minnesota; John L. Francis and his wife, Kathy of Britt, Iowa; five sisters: Florence Worsfold of Chillicothe, Illinois; Ruth Simmons of Daytona Beach, Florida; Doris Huffman of Kewanee, Illinois; Betty Schaer and her husband, Robert of Peoria Heights, Illinois; Mary Ann King and her husband, Sam of Chillicothe, Illinois; three brothers: Kenny Davis and his wife, Betty of Peoria, Illinois; Robert Davis and his wife, Betty of Peoria, Illinois; Walt Davis and his wife, Doris of Peoria, Illinois; seventeen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death in her parents, her husband, Donald in 1993; a sister, Lois in infancy.
