Constance 'Connie' Anderson, 81, of Clarion passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion. A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion. Constance Ann, daughter of John and Rosie (Scheckel) Bell, was born on January 19, 1938 in Clarion. Connie grew up on a farm in rural Clarion and later moved into town. She graduated from Clarion High School in 1956. On October 25, 1956, Connie was united in marriage to Lowell Anderson. The family made their home in Clarion and was blessed with three sons. Connie worked in the cafeteria at the high school for 27 years. Connie enjoyed camping and fishing, and also liked listening to country music. Family was very important to her. She loved watching her grandchildren grow up and connecting with them. Connie is survived by her husband Lowell; her three sons, Mike of Clarion, Marty (Jodi) of Swisher, and Murray (Cindy) of Forest City; her six grandchildren; and sister Kay Wilimek of Des Moines. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Charlie Bell; and brother-in-law Jim Wilimek.
