He graduated from High School in Manitou Springs, Colorado in 1957 and took some college night classes after graduation. He started working at a grocery store at age 14. He worked in a Sears Warehouse and then for Rainbo Bread Company in Pueblo, Colorado until his marriage to Marilyn Seefeld on September 4, 1961.

He then enlisted in the Army in January 1962 and they spent two years in Munich, Germany where their daughter Michelle was born. They adopted two sons, Kenny in 1969 and Cliff in 1972.

Dallas’ love for farming brought them back to Iowa where he became the manager of a hog confinement facility and then employed by Wigans Farms where he worked for 40 + years doing just what he loved to do!

After retirement they moved to Clarion, Iowa in 2022.

Dallas loved the Lord Jesus from childhood, taught Sunday School class for years and was a vital part of the Nazarene Church in Clarion, Iowa. He loved people and was a friend and mentor to many.
