Obituary
Daniel J. day, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 1993 at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt, Iowa.
Daniel, the son of Robert and Olyve Day, was born July 2, 1938 at West Bend, Iowa. He received his education in West Bend and graduated from West Bend High School in 1956.
On November 10, 1963 he was united in marriage with Darlene Leerar at the First Lutheran Church in Britt, Iowa. The couple made their home in West Bend, Humboldt, Corwith and most currently in Britt. He was employed at the Britt Farmer's CO-OP for over 14 years.
Daniel was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Britt. He enjoyed fishing, reading, and visiting with relatives and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene of Britt, Iowa; a son, Douglas and his wife, Dawn of Garner, Iowa, and their children: Lindsi, Emili, and Dustin; his mother, Olyve Day of West Bend, Iowa; sister, Cynthia and her husband, Gerald Bertsch of Chilton, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1965, three nephews and two nieces.
