David Allen Moore, 57, of Shreveport, Lousiana and formerly of Alexander, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 in Louisiana. David was born on July 24, 1957 in Hampton Iowa and went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2014 in Doyline, LA. He graduated from Belmond High School in 1976. He then attended Kirkwood College for Horse Husbandry. Horses were David's passion his entire life....his mother said he wasn't brought by a stork but a pony. He lived at several racetracks over the years eventually making Louisiana his home. David was preceded in death by his father, Robert Moore and brother, Randy Moore. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Moore of Alexander, Iowa; son, James Moore and wife Courtney; three grandchildren who he loved dearly, Chad , Ella and Seth of Lakenheath UK; brothers Larry Moore and Paul Moore of Tucson Arizona; sister, Ronda Moore of Belmond, Iowa and his best friend of 30 years, David Beck of Doyline, LA David was a great guy and a special friend and will sadly be missed by many.
