Obituary


Debbie Jarvis-LaDoux, 52, of Fort Dodge, died on Saturday, June 6, 2009, at the Wright County Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 11th, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Henderson, St. Paul Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home until the time of the services. Survivors include her son, Dakota LaDoux of Fort Dodge; granddaughter, Lexis Lynn Ruby of Fort Dodge; father Charles Jarvis; sisters, Terri Willaford of Ponca, OK, and Lisa Yiggi of CA. She was preceded in death by her mother Janette (Lehman) Medrano; and her brother, Danny Medrano. Debbie Lynn Jarvis was born on May 20, 1957 in Humboldt, IA. She moved to Sacramento with her family and as a young child moved with her family to Fort Dodge where she attended school. Following her education Debbie was employed with the Starlight Village Best Western for several years as the bartender. She later worked at the Community Tap for several years before retiring from Lomita's in late 2007 due to ill health. She loved spending time with her family and friends; especially spending time with her son and granddaughter.
