Debora K. Abbas
Debora Kay Abbas, 48, of Stacyville, formerly of Kanawha, died Friday, November 14, 2003, as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Rockledge, Florida.
Debora, the daughter of Leo and Faye (Corlew) Abbas, was born August 28, 1955 in Belmond, Iowa. She grew up in the Kanawha area, attended and graduated from Kanawha High School. Following graduation from high school, Debora attended Sioux Empire College in Hawarden, Iowa. She worked in Hawarden for a time, and later moved to Stacyville where she currently resided. Debora was employed by Connie’s Express of Seattle, Washington as a long distance truck driver along with her fiance Lyle Nicol.
Debora is survived by her fiance Lyle Nicol of Stacyville; two children: Chad and Christina; mother Faye Abbas of Kanawha; sisters and brother: Pamela Miller and her husband, LeRoy of Mason City, Lory Shippy and her husband, Larry of Clear Lake, and Wayne and his, Laura of Kanawha; niece Kayla and nephew Rodney.
She was preceded in death by her father and Leo and son Ben.
