Florence 'Delores' Sturm, 82, of Belmond, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City. Funeral services for Delores Sturm will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Ewing Funeral Home, 111 Luick's Lane South in Belmond. Burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday, March 6, 2021. Delores was born in Dows on November 19, 1938.  She was the first child of Howard and Mable (Waddell) Roosa.  She grew up in Webster City and went to Webster City High School.  Delores was united in marriage to Harvey Sturm Sr. in Hampton on July 4th, 1959.  They made their home in Belmond and had three children. She held a variety of jobs around the area, working at ACCO, Ben Franklin, PSI, and 27 years as a school bus driver.  Some of her favorite hobbies were bowling, fishing, traveling, and reading.  She also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Delores is survived by her three children, Sherry (Scott) McKague of Idaho, Harvey Sturm Jr. of Goodell, and and Kevin Sturm of Gowrie; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; her siblings Robert (Sheryl) Roosa of Webster City, Sandy Gumm of Des Moines, Larry (Cindy) Roosa of Eagle Grove, Ronny (Linda) Roosa of Stanhope, Dennis (Donna) Roosa of Webster City, and Carol (Steve) Thomas of Michigan. Delores was preceded in death by parents and her husband, Harvey.
