Diane Kay Wason, 65, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015, at the Clarion
Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Clarion.
Memorial services for Diane Wason will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015, at
1:30 PM at the United Presbyterian Church, 219 1st Street North West in Clarion,
with Pastor Bill Kem officiating.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015, from 3:00 PM to
5:00 PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion and will
continue one hour prior to services at the church.
Diane Kay Wason was born on June 22, 1950, to Wilbur and Beverly (Keith) Wason.
Diane grew up on the family farm and attended specialized schooling to meet her
needs. She resided in Clarion with the help of what is now Mosaic North Central
Iowa after leaving the care of her parents. She attended the United
Presbyterian Church in Clarion. Diane remained in the Clarion community all her
life. She was a happy caring person who enjoyed being around people.
Diane is survived by her parents; brother, Don (Lori) Wason; sisters, Deb
(Roger) Schaeffer and Betty (Frank) Haker; two generations of nieces and nephews
and aunt and uncle, Bill and Karen Wason.
She was preceded in death by infant twin brothers and grandparents, George and
Emma Wason and Charles and Laura Keith.
Memorials may be directed to Clarion United Presbyterian Church, Mosaic of
Northern Iowa, or Hospice for Wright County.
