Donald A. Paul, 60, of Clarion passed away Friday, February 4, 2011 at Wright
Medical Center in Clarion.
Memorial services for Donald Paul will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at
1:00 PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 602 North Main Street in Clarion with Pastor Bill
Kem officiating. Private graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery
in Clarion.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
at Ewing Funeral Home in Clarion.
Donald Allan Paul was born March 23, 1950 in Webster City, Iowa, to John Robert
"Bob" and Mary Anne (Kirchner) Paul. He moved to Clarion in 1970, and shortly
thereafter, he owned and operated Paul's Garden Mart.
Don was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad in Eagle Grove as an M.I.C. at
the time of his death.
Don was a passionate person who never swayed from who he was and what he stood
for. He was a wonderful, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all
who knew him. His legacy of helping others continues through his gift of organ
and tissue donation.
Don is survived by his wife, Debra Paul; son Cory A. (Elsed) Paul of Altoona,
currently serving in Afghanistan; daughter Jerri L. Paul of Jacksonville,
Florida; daughter Angeleah Congdon of Clarion; his grandchildren: Seth, Pixie,
Kendrick, and Katelynn; his sisters: Pat LaRue of Clarion, Peg Hayes of
Carthage, Missouri, and Kathy Mullen of Herdon, Kansas; several nieces and
nephews, and last but not least, Don and Deb's four legged children, Izzy,
Cooper, and Mini.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, John Robert "Bob" and Mary Anne
(Kirchner) Paul, his first wife, Vicky (Shultz) Paul, second wife, Eileen
(Mosher) Paul, and his brother Anthony Paul.
