Donna J. (Noack) Murphy, age 55, of Des Moines, IA passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, IA. Donna (Noack) Murphy daughter of Dale and Arlene (Lindsay) Noack, was born on April 2, 1951 in Perry, IA and graduated from Hoover High School in 1969. She lived in Iowa City, Iowa and Lincoln, Nebraska before moving back to central Iowa in 1979. She was devoted to her husband and to her son Ryan. Donna lost her beloved husband Mike in October of 2004. Donna was a talented artist and enjoyed her garden and her home. She worked her Hy-Vee foods until the onset of her illness. Donna was also very close to her two cats, Bear and Church, who have been adopted by her sister Janice. Donna is survived by her son, Ryan of Des Moines; parents, Dale and Arlene Noack; and sisters, Carol Murphy of Omaha, Janice Frazier of Pleasant Hill, and Kathryn O'Mara of Indianola. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike.
