Elizabeth Ann O'Hern Koziol, 91, passed away Sunday, July 20, 1997, at the Algona Good Samaritan in Algona, Iowa. Elizabeth, the daughter of William J. and Margaret (Burns) O'Hern, was born March 10, 1906, in Barum, Iowa. She moved to the Britt area with her parents, where she attended school.  She then  moved with her sister to Chicago and worked for the Grand Central Station for many years. She was united in marriage with Frank Walter Koziol in Chicago.  The couple made their home in Chicago until Frank passed away in 1968.  She then moved back to Britt and lived with her brother and sister-in-law, Maurice and Susie O'Hern.  She became a resident of the Good Samaritan Home in Algona in April 1997. Elizabeth is survived by two sisters-in-law: Susie O'Hern of Britt, Iowa and Dorothy O'Hern of Mason City, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and four sisters.
