Evan Riskadahl, 47, of Pocahontas, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Clarion Wellness and Rehabilitation Center.
No services will be held.
Evan Scott Riskedahl, son of Steven Riskedahl and Karen Riskedahl, was born on June 26, 1978, in Ames. He grew up in Nevada and Spencer and graduated from Spencer High School.
Evan spent most of his working career in construction. Outside of work, he embraced life fully. He had a deep love for music and enjoyed being on the water—boating and swimming. He found joy in RC cars, playing cards, and watching sports, especially football. Evan was a devoted Raiders fan, proudly supporting his team!
Evan will be remembered for his charisma and the way he truly lived, fully present and energetic. His bright blue eyes and sharp sense of style left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Evan is survived by his mother Karen Riskedahl; daughter Maggie Riskedahl; nephews Devon and CJ Riskedahl; step-daughters Bri Cellen and Madison Moller; sister-in-law Angela Kramer; and many aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father Steven Riskedahl; brother Eric Riskedahl; sister-in-law Melody Riskedahl; and cousin Lori Dubberke.
