Obituary


 Frankie Jorgene “Jene” Bourgart age 67 died Saturday, February 14, 2004, at Wright Medical Center in Clarion, Iowa.

Private family burial took place at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.  Upon Jene’s request, a memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday February 21, 2004 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 205 16th Ave. S.W. in Clarion.

Frankie (Weiner) Bourgart, daughter of George and Belva (Coats) Weiner, was born July 6, 1936 in Webster City.  She attended Clarion High School, lived in the San Diego area for a few years, but returned to Clarion and graduated in 1954.

After high school she married and was blessed with three children.  In 1970 Jene married her 2nd husband William Mulhern.  The couple made their home in Clarion until William’s passing in 1994.  In 1997 Jene was united in marriage to Charles Bourgart. They made their home in Clarion until her recent passing.

Jene was a member of Clarion Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 30 years.  She was very active in teaching Bible ministry.  She had been the Iowa District Manager for Sarah Coventry.  Prior to her illness she was a C.N.A. at the U.S.A. Health Care Center in Clarion.  Jene loved music and spending time with her grandchildren.

Jene is survived by her husband, Charles; three sons, Kirk Simons and his wife Kristi of Eagle Grove, Kyle Simons of Pleasantville, and Kevin Simons of Clarion; her father George Weiner of Clarion; her sister, Lonnie Hough of Roach, Missouri; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Belva and Bill Mulhern.
