Obituary
Glen Edward Mehl, 69, passed away Thursday, June 13, 1991 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Iowa.
Glen, the son of Edward and Anna Peterson Mehl was born November 28, 1921 at Fonda, Iowa. At an early age he moved with his family to the Kanawha area. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. In 1934 he moved to a farm in the Stilson area. He received his education in the Kanawha and Stilson areas. Glen served in the United States Army during World War II. Following his discharge he returned to farming in the Stilson area until his retirement in 1983.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include one brother, Norman Mehl and his wife, Audrey of Britt, Iowa; two nieces: Rhonda Schwarze of Manila, Philippine; Mary Ann Skoglund and family of North St. Paul, Minnesota and also many cousins.
