Glenn E. Page, 95, passed away Saturday, October 10, 1992, at Belmond Care
Center.
Glenn, the son of William and Della (McFarland) Page, was born October 26, 1896,
in Corwith. He received his education in the Corwith Community Schools. He
served with the United States Army during World War I.
On December 10, 1924, he was united in marriage with Grace E. Morris at Des
Moines, Iowa. The couple lived in several towns in North Iowa and Southern
Minnesota where he was employed as a railroad station master. he was the last
depot agent in Kanawha for the M. & St. L. Railroad. He was an active member of
the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Grace E. Page; two sons:
Robert G. Page and Charles S. Page.
Survivors include a son: Richard D. and his wife, Jean of Port Angeles,
Washington; a daughter: Marilyn and her husband, Kenneth Jacobs of Abilene,
Texas; a daughter-in-law: Elizabeth Page of Des Moines, Iowa; a brother: Elwood
J. Page of Mt. Shasta, California; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
