Grace Evelyn (Frogg) Kluver

Grace E. Kluver, 97, of Britt, formerly of Crystal Lake, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the Kanawha Community Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church, 215 Summit Avenue in Crystal Lake. Burial will be at the Crystal Township Cemetery in Crystal Lake.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

Grace Evelyn, daughter of Mervin and Lillian (Davis) Frogg, was born on March 3, 1925 in Crystal Lake, where she was raised and lived most of her life.

Grace was united in marriage to Orville Kluver in Crystal Lake. They spent many winters in Phoenix. Grace later went back to school and graduated from Arizona State University where she received her bachelor’s degree.

Grace enjoyed golfing and was an active member at the Britt Country Club for many years. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church in Crystal Lake.

Grace loved spending time with her three sisters. Grace, Gladys, and Garnet, also known as the “G Girls”, enjoyed getting their hair and nails done together, going to the horse track and the casino, and out for lunch. Grace and Gladys traveled back and forth from Iowa to Arizona together for years.

Grace is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, Keith; husband, Orville; parents, Mervin and Lillian; and sisters Susie, Gladys, and Garnet.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Summit House in Britt, Kanawha Community Home and Gateway Hospice for their outstanding care and  compassion.
