Harold Curran, 90, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 1992, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, Iowa. Harold, the son of Artemas and Nellie (Greenfield) Curran, was born March 21, 1902, near Algona, Iowa.  He received his education in the Kossuth country schools. On January 1, 1929 he was united in marriage with Florence Robinson.  The couple had lived in the Burt area, moving to LuVerne, Iowa and in 1945 to Corwith, Iowa area.  They moved to the Britt area in 1957 and more recently to a farm near Kanawha, Iowa.  He had been a resident of the Allison Care Center for five years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Florence in 1972; three brothers; and a sister. Survivors include two daughters: Joy and her husband, Donald Hanig of Wesley, Iowa; Kay Gordon of Britt, Iowa; two sons: Carroll and his wife, Kay of Emmetsburg, Iowa; Keith and his wife, Darlene of Aplington, Iowa; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
