Heinz Boser

Heinz Boser, age 82, of Belmond, formerly of Alexander, passed away Friday, January, 20, 2017 at the Rehabilitation Center of Belmond in Belmond.

Visitation for Heinz Boser will be 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Belmond.

Graveside service for Heinz Boser has been postponed to 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Alexander Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. The family will direct memorials to Kindred Hospice.

Heinz Boser, son of Wilhelm and Rosa (Höfer) Boser, was born on December 4, 1934 in Würzburg, Germany. He attended and graduated high school from Berufschule in Germany. On May 21, 1960, Heinz was united in marriage to Elfriede Fischer. In February of 1961, Heinz and Elfriede and their family moved to the United States. Heinz and Elfriede resided in Latimer for a short period of time and later moved to Alexander.

Heinz drove truck for Hansel Brothers and Stock before he retired in 2011. He was a dedicated and hard worker. Heinz was happiest when he was working. He loved watching soccer on TV, especially Germany’s soccer team.

Heinz is survived by his wife Elfriede of Belmond; sister Erika (Terry) Bricker of Texas; niece Tina (Matt) Bell and children Kelsey and Kayla of Texas; nephew Todd (Angie) Bricker and children Ainsley and Brady of Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wilhelm and Rosa Boser.
