Obituary
Helen Louise Rasmuson, 74, passed away Sunday, September 20, 1992 at her home in Britt, Iowa.
Helen, the daughter of Bert and Tilla (Bohl) Cox, was born August 11, 1918 in Chatsworth, Iowa. She received her education in the Minnesota and Iowa schools.
On August 27, 1934 she was united in marriage with Albert Rasmuson at Mason City. The couple farmed near Stetson and later east of Britt. In 1958 they moved into Britt.
She was an active member of the Congregational United Church of Christ, Martha's Circle and a life charter member of the Hancock County Historical Society. She enjoyed her grandchildren, sewing and gardening.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert; one son; one brother; and one sister.
Survivors include two sons: Ron and his wife Sally of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; Tom of San Diego, California; daughter-in-law Gloria Rasmuson of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; two sisters: Vivian Weber of Mason City, Iowa; Ruth Becker of Denver, Colorado; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
