Obituary
Herman Lee Ostercamp, 64, passed away Saturday, September 9, 1995 at the Hancock County Memorial Hospial in Britt, Iowa.
Herman, the son of Herman and Greta (Goodnow) Ostercamp, was born on May 14, 1931 at Wesley, Iowa. He attended rural schools and graduated from Britt High School in 1949. In 1952 Herman entered the U.S. Army where he served his country in Korea. He was discharged in 1954 and returned to Britt where he farmed with his father.
On March 11, 1960, he was united in marriage with Carolyn; his children Carla and her husband, Stephen DeYoung of Richfield, Minnesota; Dr. Twlya Ostercamp of Sioux City, Iowa; Craig Ostercamp, Harold Ostercamp, and Dennis and his wife, Lori Ostercamp all of Britt; three sisters: Bonnie and her husband, Bob Weiland of Fremont, Iowa; Marie and her husband, Dean Hiscocks of Dexter, Minnesota; Joyce and her husband, John Jeen of Lincoln, Nebraska; one brother George OStercamp of Chandler, Arizona; and many nieces, nephews cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Iva Jean in infancy and Ila Nielsen.
