Obituary
Ingvald S. Hovda, 72, passed away Monday, November 30, 1992 at Putnam County Memorial Hospital at Unionville, Missouri.
Ingvald, the son of Sever and Ida (Finhart) Hovda, was born July 10, 1920 in Grand Meadow, Minnesota. He received his education in the Grand Meadow, Minnesota country schools.
He worked on his family farm as a boy. As a young man he moved to Iowa, and worked on various farms.
He was a member of the Missouri Synod Church. He enjoyed horses and farming.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers.
Survivors include three sisters: Thelma Mattison of Spring Valley, Minnesota; Irene and her husband, Herbert Wallner of Stewartville, Minnesota; Myrtle Heber of Grand Meadow, Minnesota; a brother: Charles and his wife, Betty Hovda of Douglas, Wyoming.
