Ione Roberta enderson, 91, passed away Saturday, April 4, 1992, at the Westview Care Center in Britt, Iowa. Ione, the daughter of Willis and Novella (Bonham) McFarland, was born June 25, 1900 at Port Arthur, Texas.  At an early age she moved with her family to Creston, Iowa and later, to Crystal Lake. In 1919, she was united in marriage with Emery S. Enderson.  The couple made their home on a farm in the Crystal Lake area.  In 1943, she moved to Forest City where she operate a coffee shop with her sister, Irene Benson until 1950.  She then resided in San Fernadno, California until 1989, when she became a resident of the Westview Care Center in Britt. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in San Fernado and the Linden Ladies Club. Survivors include three daughters: Maxine Cottington and her husband, Keither of Forest City, Iowa; Evalyn Wright of Sylmar, California; Carol Jean Jensen of Boulder, Colorado; three grandchildren; four sisters: LaVerne Stewart of Britt, Iowa; Irene Benson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Mildred Benson of California; Margaret Shipler of Ankeny, Iowa. Ione was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emery, who passed away in 1943; one sister and one brother.
