Jacqueline Schleuger, 76, of Britt, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt.
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Bingham Township Cemetery.
Jacqueline Diane Iverson was born on September 26, 1939, in Crystal Lake to Ivan and Alberta (Bartleson) Iverson. In 1958, she graduated from Crystal Lake High School. The next year she was united in marriage to Glenn Schleuger in Britt.
Jacqueline was a homemaker raising their children and also worked in the Stitchcraft department at Winnebago Industries for 20 years. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was especially important to her. She took great pride in them and attended all their sporting events. She loved watching movies (especially ones starring John Wayne), crocheting and sewing. Her specialty was making fleece blankets and she made sure everybody in the family had one and donated many to various groups.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband of 56 years, Butch; children, Kathy (Doug) Zuehl, Terri (Doug) Verbrugge, Kim Schleuger, Matt (Kathy) Schleuger and Peggy Schleuger; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ricky; grandson, Brad Zuehl and sisters, Marnie Vivalda and Bonnie Young.
