Obituary
Jacqueline Sue Folkerts, 19, passed away Monday, January 25, 1999 at her home in Britt, Iowa.
Jackie, the daughter of Dennis and Estella (Sifuentes) Folkerts, was born on May 3, 1979 at Forest City, Iowa. She attended grade school in Thompson, Iowa, before moving to Pharr, Texas for a short time with her mother. Jackie later returned to Britt and made her home with her aunt and uncle, Olivia and David Mitchell. Jackie attended West Hancock High School and was a member of the Class of 1997. Following high school Jackie was employed as maitre d' for the COlony Inn of Ventura, Iowa. She attended the Zion Church of the Nazarene in Britt.
Jackie is survived by her mother, Estella of McAllen, Texas; two brothers, Curtis Folkerts of McAllen, Texas and Dennis Folkerts of Britt, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Eleuterio and Estebanna Sifuenes of Pharr, Texas; paternal grandmother, Everdena Folkerts of Thompson, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis and her paternal grandfather.
