James R. "Jim" Reinken, 70, of Fairmont, Minnesota and formerly of Britt, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Lutz Wing Nursing Home in Fairmont, Minnesota. Military graveside honors for Jim Reinken will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Britt. Ewing Funeral Home in Britt is helping the family with local arrangements. James Richard Reinken was born on August 29, 1944 in Albert Lea, Minnesota, the son of Christopher and Mildred (Johnson) Reinken. Jim grew up in the Keister, Minnesota area. He was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed tinkering with his 1945 Knucklehead motorcycle which he shined from head to toe. He was also a loving companion, father and grandfather. He is survived by his longtime companion, Marilyn Lindquist of Fairmont; daughter, Teresa Reinken of Kanawha, Iowa; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; one brother Todd Reinken of Omaha, Nebraska; other relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carolyn.
